My gums grow teeth inside my mouth

My soft gums make such hard teeth grow

So please don’t ask me,  I don’t know

 

They just grow up from underneath

These little tiny shiny teeth

I think I’ve got enough, but gee, ...

I like my teeth, don’t get me wrong,

They help me smile, and they’re strong,

They chop my food, they help me chew

If they were yours, you’d like them too!

 

Sometimes my teeth hurt when they grow

My Grandpa’s teeth come out, you know?

His gums don’t grow teeth anymore

So Grandpa buys teeth at the store

 

So I’ll just grow my own, I guess

I’ve got no choice, ... my gums don’t rest

They just keep growing teeth,  it’s true
